How Are G / F / H Grades Classified?
The wrong grade wastes money and misses cleanliness requirements — understand it at a glance.
G3 / G4 Primary (Coarse)
Captures coarse dust ≥5–10μm and protects downstream filters; washable with high dust holding capacity.
F5–F9 Medium Efficiency
Average counting efficiency 40–95% — the workhorse of HVAC medium stages and pre-filtration for paint spray booths.
H10–H14 HEPA
≥99.95% @0.3μm from H13 upward — final filtration for cleanrooms, pharmaceuticals, and electronics workshops.
Cost-Saving Rule of Thumb
Each higher grade costs roughly double; with good pre-filtration, HEPA service life can more than double.
